Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University men's soccer team is no stranger to playing in Coastal Athletic Association Championship Games as the Pride will be in the title game for a fifth consecutive season and will be seeking a fourth championship in a row Saturday night when they host sixth-seeded UNCW. Kickoff from Captains Field is set for 7 p.m. Admission to the game is free of charge.

The game will be streamed live on FloFC with an audio-only broadcast on the Hofstra Alternative Web Channel. Live statistics will also be available. Links for all can be found above or on the men's soccer schedule page on GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra, the No. 4 seed, enters the game with a 13-4-2 record and is ranked 18th by the United Soccer Coaches and 25th by Top Drawer Soccer. The Pride reached the finals following a 3-2 overtime win over No. 5 Charleston in the first round and a 2-0 victory at No.1 Elon in the semifinals. Teddy Baker was the hero against Charleston with a golden goal off his own corner kick, while reigning NCAA Player of the Week Laurie Goddard delivered both goals against Elon.

UNCW (6-8-5) reached the title game for the first time since 2017 after advancing through the first round against No. 3 Monmouth on penalty kicks and then scoring a 2-0 win at No. 2 Drexel in the semifinals. The Seahawks have not won a CAA title since 2009.

The teams met September 14 at Hofstra with the Pride scoring three first half goals en route to a 3-0 victory. Hofstra is 15-6-4 all-time against the Seahawks and is 4-0 all-time in postseason play.

A win Saturday night will give the Pride their fourth consecutive CAA Championship and eighth overall. They would become the first CAA team to win four consecutive men's soccer championships. Individually, Pierce Infuso, Roc Carles, Jack O'Malley, and Logan D'Aoust are seeking their fourth CAA title. Infuso, Carles, and O'Malley will also be playing in their fifth CAA Championship game.

Saturday's winner will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship. The bracket will be announced Monday, November 18, at 1 p.m.
