No. 14/17 Hofstra Heads Back To Philadelphia To Face No. 25/15 Penn

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University men's soccer team, ranked No. 14 by the United Soccer Coaches and No. 17 by Top Drawer Soccer, returns to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the second time in four days for a Tuesday night meeting with No. 25/No. 15 Penn. Kickoff at Rhodes Field is set for 7 p.m. with the game streamed live on ESPN+. WRHU will provide an audio-only broadcast over the air at 88.7 FM and online, while Penn will also offer live statistics. The Pride (8-2-1) is coming off a 5-4 loss at Drexel on Saturday. Jacob Woznicki had a goal and an assist to lead the Hofstra offense, while Eoin Farrell, Laurie Goddard, and Daniele Mastroianni also scored. Mylo Hall added an assist.

Penn (7-1-1) has won two consecutive games, including a 1-0 victory at Harvard this past Saturday behind a second half goal from Stas Korzeniowski. The Quakers are undefeated at home with a 5-0 record.

This will mark the second meeting between the two schools with Hofstra winning the initial encounter, 1-0, at home on Sept. 4, 2023. Gabriel Pacheco scored the lone goal of the game. 

Hofstra has had tremendous success in non-conference play and is 12-2-4 over its last 18 non-CAA games dating back to the start of the 2023 campaign.
