Road Test At North Carolina State Up Next For Hofstra

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University men's soccer team, ranked No. 21 by the United Soccer Coaches and No. 18 by Top Drawer Soccer, returns to action Tuesday evening at North Carolina State. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. with the game being streamed on ACCNX. A live audio-only broadcast will be aired on WRHU-FM (88.7) and live statistics will also be available. Hofstra (9-3-1) steps out of conference play to take on the Wolfpack, which enters the game at 5-2-4. The Pride is coming off a 1-0 victory over CAA-rival Campbell in their last outing this past Saturday. Teddy Baker scored on a free kick in the first half and the Pride defense made it stand. North Carolina State has tied its last two ACC matches at Stanford (0-0) and Virginia Tech (0-0).

Tuesday's game, which features two teams ranked in the NCAA RPI Top 20 (Hofstra 10, NC State 16) will be the first meeting between the two schools.

Following the game, Hofstra will have a bye weekend before returning to action at South Florida on Tuesday, October 22.
