Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra women's basketball team leaves the friendly confines of the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex for its first Coastal Athletic Association road game of the season when the Pride rolls into Boston, Massachusetts on Sunday, January 14, for a matchup against Northeastern.
Sunday's game against the Huskies has a 2 p.m. tip from the Cabot Center. The game will be streamed live on FloHoops, and WRHU will carry an audio-only broadcast of the game on the HAWC. Hofstra sits at 1-1 in league play and 7-6 overall after dropping a 48-46 nail-biter against William & Mary on Sunday.
Emma Von Essen provided nine points to lead the team in scoring, and
Brooke Anya tallied nine rebounds for the Pride against the Tribe.
Northeastern is currently 4-8 overall and 0-2 in CAA action following losses to Delaware and Drexel to open the conference schedule. Leading the Huskies into Sunday's contest is Derin Erdogan with 16.4 points per game.
Hofstra is 25-28 all-time against Northeastern. The Huskies swept the season series against the Pride in 2023, and they have won three of the last four meetings on the hardwood.
