Brian Beck lead Hofstra to claim a 15-40 win over Saint Peter's in a 5K run on Hofstra's campus.
Beck, a sophomore, ran the course in 15:37.00.
Aiden Willey placed second in a time of 15:41.30, while freshman
William Thu was third in 15:43.50. Brendan
Capadanno ran the course in 15:48.10 to finish fourth.
Jamie Cartnal completed the Hofstra line-up at fifth place in 15:55.80.
Brendan Heaney was the highest-placing Saint Peter's runner, earning a sixth place finish with a time of 17:39.40.
The Pride returns to action September 29 at Boston College's Battle in Beantown in Boston, Massachusetts.
