Kelly Levengood has been named the Coastal Athletic Association Rookie of the Week following her collegiate debut against Merrimack on Saturday.
A first-year forward/midfielder from West Deptford, New Jersey, Levengood tallied a goal and an assist in the third quarter of Hofstra's 8-0 win over Merrimack to open the 2023 season. Levengood scored her first collegiate goal at the 35:01 mark of the game, and she provided the assist on the first of
Silvia Vetter's two goals just three minutes later.
Levengood and the Pride return to the turf on Tuesday (3 p.m.) against Fairfield.
