Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University baseball team closes out the regular season with three games against Elon as the Pride look to make a final push to earn a berth in next week's Colonial Athletic Association Championship. The Pride need wins and some help from other teams to move into a top six spot in the league standings. The Pride is currently in seventh place.

The Pride (26-24, 13-13 CAA) and the Phoenix (30-20, 17-9 CAA) will meet in a doubleheader Friday beginning at 12 p.m. and will play a single game Saturday at 12 p.m. as well. Saturday's game will be Hofstra's Senior Day, with a pregame ceremony starting at 11:20 a.m. The Pride will honor graduating seniors Zach Bailey, Kevin Bruggeman, Frankie DiMartino, Michael Florides, Will Kennedy, Santino Rosso, and Garrett Sullivan. The Pride will also recognize the following graduate students who will be making their final home appearances for the Pride - Brad Camarda, Anthony D'Onofrio, Mark Faello, Jake Liberatore, Nick Marrero, John Mikolaicyk, Ryan Morash, and Brian Morrell.

Hofstra is coming off a non-conference sweep at UMass Lowell last weekend and has won six of its last seven games. The offense has been red hot with 13 or more hits in six consecutive games and seven or more runs in seven straight games, including a 19-run and a 20-run game.

Elon took two of three games against North Carolina A&T last weekend. The Phoenix have already secured a CAA Championship berth and will be looking to improve their seeding.

Pitching matchups for the series will be:

Game 1: Brad Camarda (6-2) vs. Shea Sprague (6-3)
Game 2: Mark Faello (6-6) vs. Justin Mitrovich (5-4)
Game 3: Tristan Nemjo (3-1) vs. TBA

All three games will be live streamed on FloBaseball with audio provided by broadcasters from WRHU-FM (88.7). Live statistics will also be available. Links can be found above or on the baseball schedule page of GoHofstra.com.
