Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra women's basketball team is back in action this Sunday, January 22, for match-up against Colonial Athletic Association foe Northeastern.
 
Tip-off against the Huskies is set for 2 p.m. from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex.

The Pride is 8-9 overall and 2-4 in the CAA following a road win over UNCW and a defeat to Charleston.
 
Picked to finish ninth in the CAA Women's Basketball Preseason Poll, Northeastern enters Sunday with an 8-8 overall record and a record of 3-2 in the CAA following last week's defeat to North Carolina A&T and win over Elon.
 
The all-time series stands at 28-25 in favor of Northeastern. The Pride won the last meeting against the Huskies - a 56-43 win at home on February 6 - and the teams have split the last six meetings dating back to the 2020-21 season.
