Zach Van Houten competed in the Collegiate 10,000m race against some of the top long distance runners in the country.
A first-year runner from East Meadow, New York, Van Houten completed the Collegiate 10,000m in a time of 30:43.78, placing him 34th in the field. Van Houten still sits atop the standings as the fastest 10,000m runner in the CAA, thanks to his 29:54.89 mark from the Sam Howell Invitational on April 2.
Van Houten will return to action this Saturday, April 16, at the Hofstra Invitational from Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale, New York.
