Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra women's basketball team returns to action this Sunday, December 18, as the Pride travels to Dover, Delaware, to take on Delaware State.
Tip-off against the Lady Hornets will take place at 1 p.m. from Memorial Hall Gym.

The Pride suffered a 62-61 overtime defeat to Loyola Maryland this past Saturday, putting their record at 4-5 on the year entering Sunday's game against the Hornets.
Rosi Nicholson led the team with 17 points on 6-6 shooting from the floor, while
Zyheima Swint scored 14 points and pulled down nine rebounds, and
Sorelle Ineza scored 13 points and recorded four rebounds off the bench.
Delaware State is 2-6 coming into Sunday and is in the midst of a three-game losing streak. The Lady Hornets are led offensively by Alexis Moragne with 9.4 points per game, and Tyshonne Tollie leads the team with 6.6 rebounds per game.
The Pride holds a 3-1 record in the all-time series against Delaware State. The last meeting between the two programs came in November 2016, with Hofstra winning 64-44 against the Lady Hornets from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex.
