Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra volleyball team will begin play in the Colonial Athletic Championship on Thursday when it faces William & Mary in the quarterfinals.
The Pride will be the number two seed in the championship.
The Pride and the Tribe will do battle at 4:30 p.m. The semifinals are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Friday and the championship match is on Saturday at 6 p.m.
Hofstra will be looking for its fifth CAA Championship and first since 2018 this weekend. The Pride has won CAA titles in 2018, 2014, 2012, and 2006. Hofstra is also seeking its 10th appearance in the NCAA Tournament after previously qualifying in 2018, 2014, 2012, 2006, 2000, 1999, 1997, 1996, and 1995.
The entire tournament will be played at SECU Arena on the campus of Towson.
All matches will air on FloVolleyball.
Hofstra finished a strong regular season with an overall record of 17-11 and a CAA mark of 14-2.
William & Mary concluded the regular season with an 11-12 record and a CAA ledger of 6-9.
The Tribe was one of two conference opponents the Pride did not face during the regular season.
Hofstra is 31-18 all-time against William & Mary. The Pride has won 15 consecutive matches in the series with the Tribe dating back to the 2013 season.
