Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University baseball program will hold a Player Development Prospect Camp on Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hofstra Practice Bubble. The camp is open to high school-aged players between 14-18 years old.
The camp will provide instruction and evaluation from the Pride's experienced coaching staff led by Head Coach
Frank Catalanotto, who enjoyed a 14-year Major League Baseball career. Hofstra assistant coaches
Matt Wessinger,
Chris Rojas, and
Jimmy Goelz will also take part in the camp and together the group boasts more than 44 years of playing and coaching experience. Prospect Camp participants will be guided through a pro/college-style practice and will also be evaluated in live hitting situations.
The cost of the camp is $175 for position players and pitchers, and $250 for two-way players. Online registration is available at the link above. Please note that all attendees mmust be vaccinated to attend the Prospect Camp.
