Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra softball program, led by first-year head coach Adrienne Clark, announced its 2022 schedule this week. 

The 2022 schedule features a competitive non-conference slate and 18 games at Bill Edwards Stadium. 

Hofstra will open up its season at THE Spring Games in Leesburg, Florida (opponents and complete schedule TBA), before heading back down to the Sunshine State the following week for a set of games against the 2021 national runner-up Florida State Seminoles and Big Ten opponent, Indiana. The following weekend, Hofstra will head to Louisville, Kentucky for the Cardinal Classic, featuring Louisville, Illinois, and Western Michigan. 

Following a set of games at UMBC, the Pride will host Iona and Syracuse in the Hofstra Invitational which will include six total games at Bill Edwards Stadium and five featuring Hofstra. The bulk of the non-conference schedule closes out with back-to-back-to-back single games against Stony Brook, LIU and Howard. 

The Colonial Athletic Association slate, which returns to its normal format for the 2022 season, begins with Elon on the road during the last weekend of March. The Pride will also host Charleston, UNCW, and Drexel for weekend series, and in addition to Elon, Hofstra will travel to James Madison, Delaware, and Towson for three-game conference series. In between the conference schedule, Hofstra will also face Army, Fordham, Villanova, Stony Brook, and LIU. 

The 2022 Colonial Athletic Association Championship will take place Wednesday, May 11 to Saturday, May 14 at Elon University.
