Gabby Sultan was named the CAA Player of the Week today, it was announced by the conference office.
Sultan had a strong week for Hofstra as she was a main factor in the Pride's 4-0 win that included a CAA sweep of Stony Brook.
For the week, Sultan batted .417 with three doubles, a home run, and five RBI.
In Friday's series opener, she added a key insurance run with a solo blast in the sixth inning to help Hofstra to the 3-0 win in the first of three games against SBU.
She then added two hits in each of Saturday's games to help the Pride finish off the Seawolves. Three of the four hits were doubles, and she tallied four RBI in Saturday's sweep of Stony Brook.
Sultan had hits in all three games against the Seawolves.
