Springfield, MA - Hofstra outdoor track junior Paul Markovina took to the track on Saturday and ran in the 10,000m run at the 2021 IC4A Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the John G. Hoyt '52 Track & Field Complex of American International College.

A distance runner from Old Westbury, New York, Markovina represented the Pride in the field of 37 competitors in the 10,000m event, and the junior clocked in with a time of 30:26.18 to place 11th. He was approximately five seconds off his personal-best time of 30:23.7, set in a second-place finish at the 2021 CAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on April 30.

Navy won the men's competition with 113 points, 32 points ahead of rivals Army West Point (81 pts.) in second and 87 points in front of third-place Northeastern (23 pts.).
