Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's soccer team will play its final home match of the season Friday evening when it hosts Delaware at Hofstra Soccer Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. The match is Hofstra's home finale and the Pride will recognize its three graduating seniors –
Daniel Domicolo,
Luca Tausch, and
Matthew Vowinkel – prior to the match.
The game features the top two teams in the Colonial Athletic Association North Division as both enter the contest with 1-0-1 records in league play. The teams are also both ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Region Rankings with the Pride eighth and the Blue Hens 10th.
Hofstra (3-2-1, 1-0-1 CAA) is coming off a 2-2 draw at Northeastern this past Sunday.
Roc Carles scored his first career goal while
Ryan Carmichael notched his third of the season. Delaware (2-0-1, 1-0-1 CAA) also had a 2-2 draw Sunday versus Drexel. Justin Ruth, who earned CAA Offensive Player of the Week accolades, scored both goals for the Blue Hens. Delaware led, 2-0, before Drexel scored twice in the final 13 minutes of regulation to tie the score.

Hofstra is 21-12-1 all-time against Delaware and has won seven consecutive games in the series.
Following the match, Hofstra will have a long break between contests as the Pride will not be back in action until April 10 at Northeastern in the regular season finale.
