Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University men's soccer team will take their two-match winning streak on the road Sunday for a Colonial Athletic Association matchup at Northeastern. Kick-off at Parsons Field is set for 1 p.m.
The Pride (3-2-0, 1-0-0 CAA) is coming off a 2-1 victory at NJIT this past Tuesday and has won its last two matches including a 3-0 victory over Drexel in the CAA opener on March 13.
Matthew Vowinkel, who has three goals and two assists over the last two games, leads the Pride with 10 points on four goals and two assists. He leads a balanced offense that features six players with at least one goal.

Wessel Speel has 17 saves and a 1.20 goals against average.
Northeastern is 0-3-0 on the year and 0-1-0 in league play after falling to Delaware in double overtime, 1-0, in its CAA opener. The Huskies are led by Timothy Ennin's one goal and one assist. Bernardo Gracindo has also tallied one goal, while keeper Colby Hegarty has a 2.25 goals against average and five saves in two starts.
The Huskies lead the all-time series with Hofstra, 14-10-2 but Hofstra is 4-1-1 in the last six meetings including a 3-0 win at home in 2019. Vowinkel scored all three times in that game and Alex Ashton had three saves in goal.

Following Northeastern, Hofstra will return home for its final home match of the year on Friday, March 26 at 5 p.m. versus Delaware.
