Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra University Department of Athletics announced the schedules for the Pride baseball, softball, men's lacrosse, and women's lacrosse programs.
 
The baseball team led by John Russo gets underway in Philadelphia beginning with a four-game set at La Salle. The first of two doubleheaders against the Explorers will take place on February 27.
 
The softball team will begin its third season under Head Coach Jay Miller when it plays a seven-game slate at the Villanova Invitational. First pitch for the Invitational is on March 5 at Villanova.  
 
The men's lacrosse team, coached by Seth Tierney, will kick off action at James M. Shuart Stadium on February 13 against local rival, St. John's.
 
Women's lacrosse under head coach Shannon Smith, will open its season on the road at Saint Joseph's on February 17.
