Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University men's coaching staff – Head Coach Richard Nuttall, Associate Head Coach Stephen Roche, Assistant Coach Shaun Foster, and Volunteer Assistant Adam Janowski - was recognized for their outstanding achievements this season by being voted the United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year.

It is Hofstra's first staff of the year award and the first regional award for the Pride since Coach Nuttall was named the National Soccer Coaches Association of America New York Region Coach of the Year following the 2005 season.

Hofstra was 18-2-2 in 2021, setting a school record for victories, and advancing to the third round of the NCAA Championship for the first time in program history. The Pride won the Colonial Athletic Association Championship and posted a 17-game unbeaten streak during the season as well.

The Pride has been nationally ranked for much of the season and is currently 13th in the United Soccer Coaches Poll, the Top Drawer Soccer Poll, and the College Soccer News Poll.
