Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra women's lacrosse team will look for its first win of the season on Saturday when it hosts Bucknell.
First draw control from James M. Shuart Stadium is slated for 2 p.m.

Hofstra dropped a narrow one-goal, 9-8, decision to #16 Southern California on Saturday. Senior
Alexa Mattera posted a game-high four goals in the contest, while senior
Alyssa Parrella (2G), junior
Katie Whelan (2A), and sophomore
Grace Langella (2G) all posted two points in the game. Senior
Darcie Smith tallied a game-high eight draw controls for the Pride, while sophomore
Jess Smith made a career-best 14 saves in net.
Bucknell opened its season with an 18-9 win over Sacred Heart on February 8. Eve Calabria had seven points on four goals and three assists for the Bison, while Morgan Steinhacker (3G, 1A) and Lillie Hunt (1G, 3A) each had four points.
Hofstra is 10-5 all-time against Bucknell. The Pride has won nine straight in the series, including meetings in each of the last three seasons.
