In the second game of the series, Hofstra poured in 25 fourth quarter points and rallied from a 13-point deficit with 10 minutes to play to down Northeastern.

- Be the first CAA opening win for the Pride since the 2015-16 season
- Be the 718th known victory in the history of Hofstra women's basketball and 474th at the NCAA Division I level.
