Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University junior midfielder
Storm Strongin has been named to the 2019 Academic All-District First Team, selected by CoSIDA, it was announced today. Strongin moves on to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot.
The Hicksville, New York, native owns a 3.93 grade point average as a business and economics major. He has been a Hofstra Dean's List student, a member of the Hofstra Athletic Director Scholars Academic Honor Roll, and a CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll selection.
On the field, Strongin has helped the Pride to a 9-6-2 record. He has career-highs with three goals and six assists for 12 points. He leads the team and the CAA in assists and is third on the Pride in points.
The Academic All-America team will be announced in early December.
