Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University Men's Soccer alumnus Danny Elliott signed a professional contract today to play for the Port Vale Football Club. Port Vale is a member of the English Football League Two.
 
Elliott is a 2018 graduate of Hofstra and was a four-year member of the Pride form 2014 through 2017. He started 61 of 68 career games and tallied 14 goals and four assists for 32 points. He was a two-time All-Colonial Athletic Association selection and a team captain as a senior.
 
Elliott is one of many former Pride players to sign professional contracts in various soccer leagues around the globe.
 
Port Vale is back in action on January 19 versus Crawley Town and Elliott is eligible to be selected for the Sky Belt League two fixture.
