Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra Women's Lacrosse team will host a pair of Colonial Athletic Association games this week as the Pride closes its home conference slate.
Hofstra will take on Delaware on Friday at 7 p.m. before closing the weekend with a 1 p.m. contest on Sunday against Drexel. Both games will take place at James M. Shuart Stadium.
Sunday will also mark the Pride's "Senior Day" and the program will honor its eight seniors pregame as

Hofstra (7-5, 1-1 CAA) is coming off a 15-14 overtime win over William & Mary on Sunday that evened its conference record. Sophomore
Alyssa Parrella continues to lead Hofstra in scoring with team-highs of 39 goals, 16 assists and 55 points. Sophomore
Alexa Mattera is tops on the team with 52 draw controls, while freshman
Shannon Boyle has a team-best 14 caused turnovers and sophomore
Darcie Smith has posted 26 draw controls to lead the team.
Delaware is 5-8 and 0-2 in conference play after suffering a 16-7 loss to Towson on Sunday. Becky Gohsler has 36 points on 23 goals and 13 assists, while Mia DeRuggiero has 25 assists for the Blue Hens. Gohsler has 56 draw controls and 28 caused turnovers as well, while Chantae Simms has 34 ground balls.
Drexel is 3-9 and 0-2 in the league following a 15-2 loss to No. 4 James Madison this past Sunday. Colleen Grady has 43 points on 27 goals and 16 assists to lead the Dragons, while Karson Harris has 25 points (21G, 4A), 34 draw controls, 23 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers.
Hofstra is 11-19 all-time against Delaware and 26-8 all-time against Drexel. The Pride has lost two straight in the series with both teams with Hofstra's last win against Delaware being a 6-5 victory in 2015 and a 9-8 win over Drexel that same season.
