Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra Women's Lacrosse team will play its second of two straight games at home when the Pride hosts Columbia on Tuesday.
First draw control for the game, which is part of a doubleheader with the men's lacrosse team, will occur at 4 p.m. from James M. Shuart Stadium.

Hofstra (3-4) will look to even its record at .500 when it hosts Columbia after dropping a 17-9 decision to Dartmouth on Friday.
Sophomore
Alexa Mattera led Hofstra with four goals against the Big Green, while sophomore
Darcie Smith posted three draw controls, two ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.
Mattera is second on the team with 19 points on 17 goals and two assists. She only trails sophomore
Alyssa Parrella, who has 31 points on 22 goals and nine assists. Smith has been solid on defense for Hofstra this season with 10 ground balls, seven caused turnovers and four draw controls.
Columbia will bring a 3-5 record into Tuesday's encounter after earning an 18-6 win over East Carolina on Saturday. Victoria Kalmaras has a team-high 33 points on 16 goals and 17 assists.
Hofstra leads the all-time series with Columbia, 2-0, with both of the meetings occuring in the past season seasons. In 2016, Hofstra defeated Columbia, 11-9, and then tallied a 10-8 road win last season.
