Dylan Ryder wrapped up the Pride's action at the 2018 Cliff Keen-Las Vegas Invitational Saturday afternoon at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Ryder was the final Pride wrestler to be eliminated when he dropped a 9-1 decision to Michigan's eighth-seed Drew Mattin in the 125-pound, second consolation round of eight. Mattin jumped out to a 6-1 lead after the first period on two takedowns and a two-point nearfall. The Wolverine added an escape and a takedown in the second period. Ryder, who posted a first period escape, added the riding time point to make the final 9-1.
Ryder finished the tournament with a 3-2 record. Pride junior
Sage Heller (7-6) had a busy and productive first session at 174 pounds, posted a 3-2 record at 174 pounds, with all decisions coming by pin, before being eliminated on Friday. with all decisions coming by pins. Four Pride wrestlers, red-shirt sophomore

Late in session three of four Saturday afternoon, Hofstra was in 29th place in the 42-team field with 19 points. Ohio State leads the tournament field with 128 points with Missouri second with 107 points and Nebraska third with 101.5 points.
The Pride will return home on Sunday, December 9 to host Northern Colorado at 1 p.m. and VMI at 3 p.m. at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex
