Wrestling Named NWCA Team Scholar All-America; Ranks Eighth In Team GPA

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University wrestling program continued a strong run of academic achievements by once again earning National Wrestling Coaches Association Team Scholar All-America accolades. The Pride ranked eighth in the nation in grade point average among Division I programs with a 3.64 GPA. It marked the eighth consecutive season that the Pride earned the honor, which is given to the top 30 teams. Last season, Hofstra was 14th.

Hofstra was one of four EIWA schools to earn the award, joining Sacred Heart, Franklin & Marshall, and Drexel. 

Arizona State recorded the top team GPA in the nation at 3.689.
