Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra University Men's Soccer team, undefeated in its last eight games, will play two big Colonial Athletic Association games this week beginning Wednesday night at Northeastern (6 p.m.). Hofstra will then return home to face James Madison at Hofstra Soccer Stadium on Saturday night at 7 p.m.
Tickets for Saturday's game can be purchased by visiting HofstraTickets.com or by calling the Hofstra Athletics Box Office at 516-HOF-TIXX. Tickets will also be available at the box office on game night, beginning one hour prior to start time.
Hofstra is 6-3-3 on the season and is 6-0-2 in its last eight contests including three consecutive wins. The Pride has an eight game shutout streak and has not allowed a goal in 762:17. Hofstra's 3-0-1 CAA record has it in a tie for second place in the conference with UNCW with 10 points. The Pride is coming off a 1-0 win at Delaware behind
Oscar Ramsay's goal and a solid defensive effort that did not allow a shot on goal.
Matthew Vowinkel leads the Pride in scoring with six goals.

Storm Strongin each have a team-best three assists.
Alex Ashton has a 0.71 goals against average and 41 saves.
Northeastern enters the game at Parsons Field with a 3-5-1 record and a 1-1-1 mark in the CAA. The Huskies sit in fifth place with four points. Northeastern is coming off a 2-2 tie against William & Mary this past Saturday. Ryan Massoud has a team-best four goals for the Huskies while Chandler Cree and Noah Abrams have combined for a 1.04 goals against average.
James Madison is the top team in the CAA standings entering the week. The Dukes are 6-3-2 overall and 4-1 in league play (12 points). James Madison plays at William & Mary Wednesday night before heading north to Hempstead. Aaron Ward-Baptiste has been the Dukes' top scorer with five goals and two assists while Carson Jeffris and Billy Metzler each have three goals. TJ Bush has a 0.68 goals against average and has allowed eight goals on the season.
