Jack Concannon has been named to U.S. National Team roster for this Saturday's (October 6) Team USA Fall Classic against NCAA Division I National Champion, Yale at Tierney Field at the U.S. Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Maryland. Game time is noon.
A two-time All-American goalie
Jack Concannon wrapped up his four-year Pride career in 2018. The Lindenhurst, New York, native started all 14 games last season and played all but 2:23 in the cage for the Pride. Concannon posted a 7.81 goals against average with 142 saves and a .566 save percentage to earn his third consecutive All-Colonial Athletic Association first team selection. He led the CAA and was fourth in the nation in goals against average. He also led the league and was eighth in the country in save percentage, and third in the conference and 29th in Division I with 10.14 saves per game.
Concannon became just the second Pride goalie in school history to be twice named to one of the three USILA All-America teams during their careers. He was named to the All-America second team in 2017 and the third team in 2018. In addition, Concannon was named to the 2018 Inside Lacrosse Media All-America second team for the second consecutive season.
Concannon was also named to the 2018 All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division I Men's Lacrosse second team for the second consecutive year and the USILA-Nike North-South Senior All-Star Game. He was named to the 2018 CAA Championship All-Tournament team after recording a career-high and a CAA Championship Tournament-record 22 saves in the Pride's semifinal game at UMass.
In his Hofstra career, Concannon played in 47 games and started 45. He recorded an 8.43 goals against average with 481 saves, a .564 save percentage and 26 victories. In addition to his many awards, Concannon was selected with the fourth round pick by the Florida Launch in the 2018 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft in late April and saw limited time in just one game last season.

Following the men's game at 12 noon, the U.S. Women's National Team will play defending NCAA Women's National Champions, James Madison at 3 p.m.
