Portland, Maine – Hofstra Men's Soccer rising sophomore Luke Brown was named the Premier Development League (PDL) Player of the Week for the week of June7.
 
Brown helped GPS Portland Phoenix to a 2-0 week, putting up four goals and two assists and logging 150 minutes. He had a hand in four of the Phoenix's six goals in a 6-0 rout of the Long Island Rough Riders on Saturday, finding the back of the net twice and setting up two tallies. He added two more goals in a 3-0 win over the Westchester Flames on Sunday.
 
The 2016 Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Year leads the league in points with six goals and three assists in just four games.
