Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra Women's Lacrosse team will face Columbia on Saturday, marking the first-ever meeting between the programs.
First draw control is scheduled for 3 p.m. from James M. Shuart Stadium on the campus of Hofstra University.

Scott is tops on the team in both points and goals with 28 and 25, respectively. Senior defender

Becky Conto have been strong for Hofstra in draw controls as Carrera leads the way with 24, while Conto has 23.
Columbia is 5-5 this season and is coming off a 17-14 win over Wagner on Wednesday. Victoria Kalamaras has a team-best 29 points on 16 goals and 13 assists. Lindsey Ewertsen is second with 27 points (22 goals, 5 assists), while Sara Ruzzi is third with 25 points on 23 goals and two assists.
Following this game, Hofstra will commence Colonial Athletic Association play on April 8 with a 6 p.m. game at William & Mary.
