Atlanta, GA - Will Campbell pitched a complete game, four-hit shutout and Rob Lind went four-for-four with a home run and six RBIs to lead the Panthers of Georgia State to a 13-0 win over the Pride Saturday afternoon in the second game of a Colonial Athletic Association series.
Georgia State improves to 32-13, 12-8 in the CAA. Hofstra falls to 11-25, 9-14 in league play.
Campbell struck out four batters and did not allow a walk to improve to 7-1 on the year. All four Hofstra hits were singles.
The Panthers got the only run they would need in the first as Mark Micowski led off with a walk, went to second on a ground out and took third on an error by Hofstra pitcher

. Lind then lifted a sacrifice fly to center for a 1-0 lead. The Panthers would add two runs in the third on an RBI single from Lind and an RBI ground out by Ryan Fleming.
Georgia State would score five in the fourth, two in the sixth (on a two-run Lind home run) and three in the eighth. In addition to Lind's four hits, Micowski also added four hits, four runs and an RBI.
Kumbatovic (1-7) went 3 1/3 innings and allowed seven hits, six runs (four earned) and two walks.
