Five Hofstra Field Hockey players were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Squad, announced on Wednesday.

Junior Amy Krysiewski (Kingston, PA), and freshmen Shannon Alexander  (Holbrook, NY), Elise Galvanin (Mansfield, MA), Sekayi Liburd (Arima Trinidad), and Michelle Schroeder (Lindenhurst, NY) were all named to the squad.

Hofstra finished the 2003 season 12-8 overall and 2-5 in the Colonial Athletic Association.
