Two Hofstra University Field Hockey players were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I All-Region Team, announced on Monday, November 17, 2003.
 

Senior co-captain and defender Kathryn Sergi (Greene, NY/Greene Central) (pictured above) was named first team All Mideast Region team.  Sergi finished second on the Pride in scoring with 13 points, including five goals and three assists.  Sergi led the team in shots taken with 71 and recorded one game-winning goal against James Madison University on October 10.

Freshman midfielder Doni-Melissa Jantzen (Shoreham, NY/Shoreham-Wading River) was named second team All-Mideast Region.  Jantzen started all 20 games for Hofstra, recording eight points, including three goals and two assists.  Jantzen was tied for second on the Pride with two game-winning goals.   

Hofstra finished the season 12-8 overall and 2-5 in the Colonial Athletic Association.
