2006: Played in 61 games in 28 matches...Recorded 72 kills, 86 digs and 41 blocks on the season...Had a season-high 13 kills and 14 digs in CAA semifinal win over Delaware...Had 10 kills at Delaware and George Mason...Tallied nine digs at Georgia State and James Madison...Posted seven blocks at James Madison...Had four blocks in CAA Championship match against Virginia Commonwealth...Received CAA Commissioner's Academic Award.

BACKGROUND: Lettered in volleyball and basketball at John Glenn High School in Elwood, New York...Led team to five Suffolk County championships, four Long Island championships and to 2003 and 2004 New York State championships...Named to 2004 Prep Volleyball All-America team...Four-time All-New York State selection...Suffolk County Most Valuable Player in 2002, 2003 and 2004...Named Outstanding Senior in Suffolk County in 2004...Finished scholastic career with 2,690 kills...2005 Suffolk County Player of the Year in basketball after leading Glenn to a 29-0 record and its first state and Federation championship...All-state, All-Long Island and all-county selection in basketball.

PERSONAL: Has one brother...Attended Seton Hall University for one semester and was a member of the Lady Pirates basketball team...Was a member of the WNIT quarterfinalist Hofstra Women's Basketball team in 2006-07 and played in 23 games...Played on the Long Island Open Volleyball team at the 2006 Empire State games...Plans to pursue a career in health administration in a hospital or nursing home...Health administration major with a minor in Spanish.

What is something that very few people know about you? I like working with the elderly because they have so much advice to give and sometimes they say the funniest things.

What is your best memory with the Hofstra Volleyball team? My first trip with the team last season (to California) because we had such a great time.

Why Hofstra?  Hofstra has a great community health department, the campus is located close to where I grew up and I fell in love with my coaches and teammates.
