PERSONAL: Has one sister...Father, Marty, played baseball at Southern California and pitched for the Kansas City Royals organization from 1981 to 1986...Also recruited by University of California Riverside, Cal Baptist University and South Dakota State...Plans to pursue a career in civil engineering.
