Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra women's lacrosse program announced its captains for the 2026-27 year today and four members of the program were selected. 

Serving as captains for the Pride this year will be Christine Dannenfelser, Kate Lemery, Nikki Mennella, and Evin Terzioglu. 

A senior from Bayport, New York, Dannenfelser has appeared in 50 games for the Pride. She is a finance major. 

Lemery is a junior and also hails from Bayport, New York. She has played in 30 games for Hofstra. She is a finance major. 

A fifth year, Mennella has appeared in 51 games for Hofstra and is from Smithtown, New York. She is a physical education and health major. 

A senior marketing major, Terzioglu has appeared in 34 games for the Pride. She is a native of Rochester, New York. 

This will be the third year serving as a captain for both Dannenfelser and Mennella.
