Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University women's soccer team will return to action Thursday night when it hosts Fordham. Game time at Captains Field is set for 7 p.m.

The Pride (0-1-1) are looking to crack the won column and are coming off a 1-1 draw against Columbia last Friday. Alexia Bromfield scored the equalizer in the second half off a pass from Alexia Des Croisselles. It was Bromfield's first career goal.

Fordham is 1-2 on the season with the Rams notching their first victory this past Sunday, 2-1, at Marist. Fordham scored two second half goals including the game-winner from Ava Giudice with less than eight minutes to play. 

Hofstra is 16-2-1 all-time versus Fordham and has won 10 consecutive games in the series. The teams have not met since September 1, 2022, with the Pride winning on the road, 1-0, on an Anja Suttner penalty kick.

Following Thursday's game, Hofstra will return to action Sunday at Sacred Heart with a 12 p.m. start. That game will be streamed on ESPN+. Sacred Heart is 3-0 entering Thursday night's game versus New Haven. The teams have met only once before with Hofstra posting a 1-0 win on September 1, 2006 behind a Larkin Hargraves goal.
