Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra softball team welcomes Monmouth for the final Coastal Athletic Association series of the 2026 regular season from Bill Edwards Stadium.
Prior to the beginning of Saturday's game, the Hofstra softball coaching staff and student-athletes will honor graduating seniors
Emma Brennan,
Emma Falen,
Alanna Morse, and
Lily Yepez in a pregame Senior Day ceremony.
The three-game series between Hofstra and Monmouth opens on Thursday at 5 p.m., followed by game two on Friday at 1 p.m., before concluding the series and the regular season at 12 p.m. on Saturday. All three games will be streamed on FloCollege, and live statistics will be available for all three games as well. Hofstra dropped a trio of non-conference games this past week, putting the Pride at 26-21 overall with an 18-3 mark in CAA contests following a series sweep of Stony Brook on April 17-18. The Pride and the Hawks previously met back in March 13-15, and Hofstra went 2-1 against Monmouth in New Jersey
After winning two of three games against North Carolina A&T, Monmouth heads into the final conference series of the season 20-28 overall and 10-11 in the CAA, with the Hawks fighting for a spot in the upcoming 2026 CAA Championship.
Hofstra leads Monmouth 10-4 in the all-time series and 8-4 since the Hawks joined the CAA in 2023.
