Kingston, NY - Hank Kancher shot rounds of 72 (E) and 68 (-4) to tie for fourth at the Roar-EE Invitational hosted by Columbia University from Wiltwyck Golf Club in Kingston, New York, on Saturday. As a team, the Pride tied with New Haven for sixth place at 577 (+1).

Kancher finished tied for fourth out of the 90-player field at 140 (-4), while Gavin Clarke tied for 20th at 144 (E). Clarke shot a first round one under and second round one over par. Eugene Kang shot a first round even par and second round 74 (+2) to tie for 35th at 146 (+2). Joseph Wong tied for 42nd at 147 (+3) following rounds of 74 (+2) and 73 (+1), while Taishi Shigaki tied for 78th at 154 (+10).

Fairfield claimed the team title with a two-round score of 561 (-15), while Iona and Columbia tied for second place at 567 (-9). Fairfield's Rasmus Ditzinger took the individual title at 133 (-11). 

The Hofstra men's golf team return to action on Sunday, April 26, for the first round of the CAA Men's Golf Championship from Dataw Island Golf Club in St. Helena Island, South Carolina.
