Easton, PA - Joseph Wong shot a 71 (-1) to lead Hofstra on the first day of the ABARTA Coca-Cola Collegiate Invitational at Northampton Country Club in Easton, Pennsylvania. As a team, the Pride is in eighth place following the first of two rounds.

Wong is tied for seventh place in the 98-player field. Gavin Clarke is tied for 38th following a first round 76 (+4). Hank Kancher and Eugene Kang shot a first round 77 (+5) to tie for 49th-place, while Charlie Ferrise is tied for 74th at 80 (+8) heading into the second round of play. 

Hofstra shot a 301 (+13) as a team in the 15-team field. Towson leads after round one at 289 (+1) and Lehigh is in second at 292 (+4). 

The second and final round of the ABARTA Coca-Cola Collegiate Invitational gets underway Monday at 9 a.m.
