Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's lacrosse team will begin March with a "home" game against UMBC on Saturday. That content will be played at Farmingdale State College.

Opening face-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. and the contest will be played at Farmingdale State College's Rams Field. Admission is free of charge.

The game will air on FloCollege. Links to the broadcast, as well as the live statistics, can be found on this page and on the men's lacrosse schedule page on GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra is 1-4 this season following a narrow 11-8 loss to #14 Rutgers on Saturday. Trevor Natalie and Gus Langtry both tallied hat tricks in the game for the Pride, while Blake Cooling had five ground balls and two caused turnovers.

UMBC is 1-3 heading into Saturday's game and most recently suffered a 14-10 loss at Towson on Friday. Jake Kucinski had five points on two goals and three assists for the Retrievers.

Saturday will be the fifth all-time meeting between Hofstra and UMBC. The Pride is 3-1 against the Retrievers. All four previous meetings took place between 1988 and 1992. The Pride won the first-ever meeting in 1988, 15-9.
