Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra women's lacrosse team will hit the road to open the 2026 campaign as the Pride will face Siena on Friday. 

Opening draw control is scheduled for 2 p.m. The game is the season opener for both teams. 

There will be live video (via Siena), a WRHU audio-only broadcast, and live statistics available for the game. Links to all three can be found on this page and on the women's lacrosse schedule page on GoHofstra.com. 

The Pride is coming off a nine-win campaign in 2025 and will look to improve upon that as the 2026 season gets underway. Hofstra had a pair of players earn preseason All-CAA honors as Nikki Mennella and Christine Dannenfelser garnered spots on the squad. Mennella was also a USA Lacrosse Preseason All-American. 

Siena was 9-9 last season and saw its season come to an end in the MAAC semifinals. 

This is the first-ever meeting between Hofstra and Siena in women's lacrosse.
