Nikki Mennella earned preseason All-America honors as she was named to the USA Lacrosse Division I Women's Preseason All-American Honorable Mention Team, it was announced today.
Mennella was the 2025 CAA Attacker of the Year and also earned All-CAA First Team honors, in addition to being named to the IWLCA All-Region squad.
Mennella had a spectacular 2025 campaign as she posted 99 points on 62 goals and 37 assists, while also adding 67 draw controls, eight ground balls, and six caused turnovers. Her points per game average of 6.60 set a new CAA record and incredibly the PPG average is the 11th-best in the history of NCAA Division I lacrosse. Mennella was a five-time CAA Offensive Player of the Week award recipient in 2025 and twice earned national honors - USA Lacrosse Magazine on February 25 and IWLCA on April 22.
Mennella has 170 career points on 115 goals and 55 assists in her career. She also has 88 draw controls, 19 ground balls, and 10 caused turnovers. She currently ranks 10th all-time in program history in points, 11th in assists, and 12th in goals.
