Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball will begin an important stretch on Thursday when it hosts Northeastern. The game will be the Pride's Jewish Heritage Night and the contest is being presented by Hofstra Hillel.
The game is part of Hofstra's Winter Homecoming week, which will be highlighted by Saturday's game against Towson.
Opening tip-off from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex is scheduled for 7 p.m.

There will be a free stadium bag giveaway for the first 500 fans in attendance on Thursday! In addition, there will be a postgame autograph session with the team.

Hofstra dominated Monmouth this past Saturday by the score of 73-57 to improve to 14-9 overall and 5-5 in CAA action.
Cruz Davis had 24 points to lead all scorers in the game, while
Silas Sunday had his first double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds and
Joshua Aaron Reaves added a season-best 17 points for the Pride.
Preston Edmead was solid as well with 13 points and a season-high-tying eight assists.
Northeastern is 6-15 overall and 2-8 in conference play. The Huskies are coming off a narrow 89-84 loss to Charleston on Saturday. William Kermoury had 36 points for Northeastern in that contest, while Mike Loughnane added 24 points and Luca Soroa Schaller chipped in with 13 points and 15 rebounds.
Hofstra is 32-27 all-time against Northeastern. The Pride has won six of the last eight and nine of the last 13 in the series. The teams split the season series a year ago.
