Hempstead, NY - Hofstra men's basketball student-athlete Cruz Davis added another honor as he was named to the I-AAA ADA Scholar-Athlete Team, it was announced by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics today. 

Davis, a native of Plano, Texas, carries a 3.63 grade-point average as a liberal arts major.

Davis earned numerous accolades this season, including being named CAA Player of the Year and CAA Scholar-Athlete of the Year in men's basketball. He was also an All-CAA First Team selection. 

This season, Davis averaged team highs of 20.1 points and 4.7 assists per game. He appeared in all 35 games and averaged 37.9 minutes per game.

Davis was also a three-time CAA Player of the Week and three-time Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Player of the Week honoree in 2025-26. A member of the CAA Championship All-Tournament Team, Davis has twice been named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.
