Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra women's lacrosse team has one game on the schedule this week as the Pride will host Fairfield on Saturday. 

Opening draw control is scheduled for 12 p.m. and the game will be played at Captains Field on Hofstra's north campus.

Hofstra will bring a 2-1 record into Saturday's game after earning a 12-7 win over Quinnipiac on Saturday. Kayleigh Bender led the way with six points on four goals and two assists, while Nikki Mennella posted five points on four goals and an assist. 

Fairfield is also 2-1 this season and most recently defeated Boston University, 9-5, on Saturday. Haley Burns had four goals in the game for the Stags. 

Saturday will be the 22nd all-time meeting between Hofstra and Fairfield. The Pride lead the series, 15-6. Hofstra won last season's meeting, 17-11.
