Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra women's lacrosse team earned a slew of academic awards from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association, the organization announced today.

As a team, the squad earned the IWLCA Academic Honor Squad designation. In addition, 11 individuals were named to the IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll.

The Pride had a 3.68 grade point average during the 2025-26 academic year as a team to earn IWLCA Academic Honor Squad accolades. To qualify for this prestigious Academic Honor Squad, the team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.

In addition, three members of the team - Christine Dannenfelser, Nikki Mennella, and Madeleine Rudolph - earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District accolades last month.
