Lake Placid, NY - Hofstra tied for fifth place at Columbia's Autumn Invitational Sunday, shooting a two-day total of 862 (+10). The Pride shot a final round 303 (+19) to close out the competition from the par-71 course at the Lake Placid Club in Lake Placid, New York.
Hank Kancher led the Pride finishing in seventh place at 210 (-3) following a third round 72 (+1).
Joseph Wong and
Charlie Ferrise tied for 29th-place in the 80-player field at 218 (+5). Wong shot a final round 79 (+8), while Ferrise shot a final round 74 (+3).
Eugene Kang finished tied for 50th-place at 224 (+11) following a third round 82 (+11), while
Gavin Clarke tied for 58th-place at 226 (+13).Â
Dartmouth's Luke Harper was the individual champion at 204 (-9), while Columbia took the team title at 840 (-12).Â
The Pride return to the course on Thursday, October 16, for the Adelphi Panther Invitational from the Meadowbrook Country Club in Jericho, New York.Â
