Lake Placid, NY - The Hofstra men's golf team sits in third place as a team at 559 (-9) after the first two rounds of play at the Columbia Autumn Invitational. Leading the Pride are
Hank Kancher and
Joseph Wong who are tied for fourth and tenth place, respectively, heading into the final round of play on Sunday.
Kancher shot career low rounds of 69 (-2), while Wong shot a first round 70 (-1) and second round career low 69 (-2) on Saturday.
Eugene Kang sits tied for 24th place our of the 80-player field after a first round 75 (+4) and second round career low 67 (-4).
Charlie Ferrise shot a first round career low 69 (-2) and second round 75 (+4) to sit tied for 33rd, while
Gavin Clarke is tied for 48th place following rounds of 71-77.
As a team, Hofstra is in third place after two rounds, while Colgate leads at 553 (-15).
The final round of the Columbia Autumn Invitational gets underway Sunday at 8:45 a.m. from the Lake Placid Club in Lake Placid, New York.
